The Fathers and Sons Camp 2016 ran from Friday 4 November to Sunday 6 November. This camp was held at Myuna Bay Sport and Recreational Centre where participants enjoyed a range of recreational and cultural activities including Didgeridoo and culture workshops, fishing and the annual Fathers and Sons Camp Putt-Putt Challenge.
All attendees, including KARI Ambassador Brent Kite, had a great weekend. The camp was providing ideas to support the development of stronger relationships between fathers and their sons.
These camps are vital as they enable fathers and sons to strengthen their bond. Cultural activities and learning about their heritage helps bring them closer together.
