Fishers Ghost Family Fun Day celebrates Harness Racing

The Fishers Ghost race meeting is an entertaining way to get children and families not only involved in Harness Racing but allows them to experience the excitement surrounding this unique sport.

Club Menangle host a wonderful event with rides, food stalls and face painting, providing endless entertainment for children. This event is a great way to celebrate Harness Racing and a great way to expose more of the community to the sport.

The Indigenous Driver Series (JC Caffyn Plate) returned for its 9th year. KARI have been supporting this event for many years and are proud to be supporting such a unique sport.

Over the course of the year, a series of heats took place across New South Wales to assemble drivers of the final race, the JC Caffyn Plate, held on Sunday 27th October at Club Menangle.

The winner of the JC Caffyn Plate was Danny Scanlan with horse ‘Ziggy Rocks’. It was Danny’s first win in over 16 years.
