Here at KARI, we would not be able to continue the great work that we do without people like Hannah More. Hannah is a foster parent through another agency and when she heard about KARI she just knew she wanted to be involved.
“Being a foster parent isn’t easy but it has been one of the most rewarding opportunities that has come into my life,” said Hannah.
“My heart goes out to all the children in out of home care. In NSW alone there are over 20,000 children in out of home care and a third are Indigenous. Those statistics make my stomach hurt considering that the Aboriginal population makes up less than 3% of all Australians,” she continued.
Hannah More’s experience with fostering is a positive one. She is asking for your help to support KARI continue the work we do.
On November 5th 2017 she will be running the New York marathon – a whopping 42kms! Training, whenever she can while raising four children on her own and working full time, is no mean feat.
If you would like to support Hannah in her campaign head to her GoFundraise page and make a donation.
From KARI and Hannah, we thank you so much for your support.
