Targeted Early Intervention

KARI’s Targeted Early Intervention Service will help build stronger, long-term foundations for your family.

Our key focus is to link clients to specialist support, ultimately helping to build sustainable foundations for their families. We offer daily advice and referral services on a number of issues.

Here, you will find information on the following services:

  • Housing
  • Emergency relief
  • Employment
  • Education
  • Legal concerns
  • Medical
  • Frequently asked questions
  • Links to After-hours services
  • KARI’s Online Referral Portal

We also provide short-term case management, where an allocated early intervention officer will work with clients for up to six months.

While many clients are referred to us through such services as the police force, educational facilities and family and community services, self-referrals are also a major entry point. We receive phone calls and emails from people in need of assistance every day.

The Targeted Early Intervention Team are waiting to hear from you. If you need assistance with any of these services, please contact us today at or (02) 8782 0300.

Please note the Targeted Early Intervention team will only act as a third party advocate on the client’s behalf.

The Targeted Early Intervention Team can offer assistance with accessing public housing, tribunal support, referrals to services for support with rental arrears, as well as the private rental market.
