The KARI Aboriginal Education and Employment Expo brings together education, training and employment pathways in one supportive, community-led space.
Designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, job seekers, parents, carers and educators, the Expo provides practical information, real conversations and clear next steps toward further education or employment.

What to expect on the day

The Expo offers a one-stop experience where attendees can:
- Meet employers from a wide range of industries including construction, hospitality, retail, banking, utilities, waste management, emergency services and more
- Speak directly with universities about courses, entry pathways and Aboriginal-specific support programs
- Learn about apprenticeships, traineeships, part-time, casual and full-time employment opportunities
- Get practical careers advice and ask real questions about what different jobs and study options are actually like
- Explore pre-employment, job-ready and university preparation programs designed specifically for Aboriginal students and job seekers
Interactive stalls and face-to-face conversations allow attendees to explore options at their own pace, in a culturally safe and welcoming environment.
