Sunday night proved to be a success for both the NSW Blues and KARI Foundation. The NSW Blues were able to come away with an Origin Series win, while KARI Foundation were entertaining the crowd before the match.
After a captivating match the NSW Blues claimed victory over Queensland 18-14, giving them a well deserved 2018 Origin Series win. The last game of Origin is in Brisbane, where the Blues are looking to take out the series 3-0.
Josh Addo-Carr and Latrell Mitchell were among the try scorers for the night. Alongside James Roberts and Tyrone Peachey, the NSW Blues were unstoppable. KARI Foundation are incredibly proud of these boys and what they have achieved throughout this Origin Series
KARI and the Muggera Dancers joined forces to deliver an exceptional display of aboriginal culture and excellence with both traditional dance and song. Both groups took to the field to perform in front of the 82,223 people that attended.
Before their ANZ Stadium debut, KARI’s singers stopped by the marquee, located outside of the stadium.
The KARI marquee was a success, as it allowed game attendees to have their photo taken with the NSW Blues. Attendees would have their photo taken, which would then appear in a photo of the Blues team. They would receive a text with a link that allowed them to post their images to social media.
KARI Foundation also had a signed Blues jersey to giveaway to a lucky NSW supporter. The winner will be drawn on July 2nd.
