The weather has seemingly put a dampener on a lot of our communities. My heart goes out to all who have been affected by the recent flooding, especially those who have lost their homes and loved ones. The KARI Foundation in partnership with the Koori Mail have set up a fundraising appeal to support and assist the continued rebuild of regional communities across NSW and QLD.
Our momentum continues to drive forward and exceed expectations across a number of established and new partnerships.
Business Sydney, ICC & The KARI Foundation were proud to work together to deliver the inaugural First Nations Forum which was extremely well attended and received by so many members. We are looking forward to planning and building on this success for 2023.
We launched the KARI Podcast on International Women’s Day and we have several thought-provoking conversations to be launched in the near future.
I’m sure you won’t miss our latest edition to the KARI Foundation, Transurban Westconnex learner driver program. This initiative really demonstrates how working together we can drive real, measurable outcomes for our community.
There have been so many other wonderful things happening at the KARI Foundation & KARI Limited and in the coming month we will be launching our 2022 City 2 Surf campaign. This event provides a unique opportunity for our corporate partners to walk alongside our community members.
I hope you enjoy reading this month’s update.
Yours in culture,
Casey Ralph
