The year has kick started to a frenetic pace with programming across both organisations in full swing!
KARI Ltd is busy working towards achieving accreditation for a further five years whilst the team at the KARI Foundation have been busy rolling out new and exciting programs in the areas of Creative and Performing Arts, Education and Culture. Staff across both organisations are motivated to ensure 2020 is a year of innovation that translates into positive outcomes for Aboriginal children, young people and communities.
KARI Foundation is proud to announce that it is once again the major sponsor of the NRL Indigenous All Stars campaign. The current All Stars concept has culture at the forefront of its objective which aligns greatly with our philosophy that culture can drive change. The men and women chosen to represent the Indigenous All Stars in 2020 are all not only outstanding athletes but are all in their own rights champions for change. We wish all those taking part the best of luck for their respective games but acknowledge that even before taking the field they are winners as they undoubtedly plant seeds of aspiration for future generations.
This is the first of many exciting partnerships to take place in 2020 and I look forward to announcing many more throughout the year.
In signing off, I’d like to recognise our staff, our valued partners and those on the ‘KARI Journey’ for making 2019 such a successful year. Together we achieved some incredible outcomes using culture to drive change.
I look forward to celebrating what we achieve across 2020!
Regards
Casey Ralph
