The team at both KARI Limited & KARI Foundation have continued to provide quality service to clients and community over the May/June period as we now work towards all staff returning to work.
I would like to commend my team, who have continued to be innovative in their approach to continuing best practice service across all program areas during this period.
Internally, we have continued to liaise and receive direction from the Australian Government Department of Health and our Workplace Relations Advisors to ensure KARI remains compliant and have the appropriate tools to implement a comprehensive COVID-19 Return to Work plan.
I am pleased to confirm that staff will be able to return to the workplace on a regular basis commencing Wednesday 1st July 2020.
Upon return to the workplace, both KARI and individual staff have a responsibility and duty of care in adhering to the COVID-19 safety provisions that have been implemented throughout each office with regards to all health and safety matters.
We look forward to moving ahead with the re-commencement of regular programming in the coming weeks and continuing to work with our clients and community across the second half of the year.
In addition to the positive news regarding our return to work, we are very grateful that over the past two months our monthly giving donations have doubled. These generous contributions make an enormous difference in the lives of Aboriginal children, families and community especially during current times. To that end, I would like to say Thank You.
We appreciate your generosity and dedication to championing our mission, ensuring that together, we are able to continue to create opportunities and allow culture to empower us all to drive change.
