The HSBC LEAD Program has ensured the success of many Indigenous students over the last year. This program ensures that the importance of education is recognised, not only by KARI but by HSBC as well.
The program allows a selected group of Year 11 and 12 students financial aid, mentoring and leadership support to ensure that they get the best outcomes for their education and reach any goals that they may set.
There are three workshops that are held throughout the year that focus on different themes, such as:
- Resilience
- Leadership
- Milestone mapping and goal setting
Workshops are facilitated by KARI Ambassador Beau Champion and Community Programs Coordinator Lauren Drayton who have the relevant training, experience and passion to work with kids in their communities.
The success of the program wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing support of HSBC.
