Members of the community participated in the latest installment of the Indigenous Art program over a five-week period.
Facilitated by Aboriginal artist Danielle Mate, this program aimed to provide participants with the skill set to teach other members of their local community about Aboriginal Art, both traditional and contemporary and overall, increase their confidence in the creative arts.
At the completion of this program, we encouraged participants to enter their completed works into the 2017 MIL-Pra AECG Art Exhibition and Competition to promote Indigenous Artists in our local community.
