KARI Foundation is proud to announce a new Community Sponsorship program, which is the Koori Knockout Sponsorship program. With the announcement of this program, we have continued our commitment to advance Aboriginal excellence throughout the community.
The Annual Koori Knockout competition is being held in Dubbo this year at the Apex Oval. The rugby league festival brings together Indigenous teams from all around Australia to compete. There are 145 teams expected to play this year, with men’s, women’s, under 12s, under 15s and under 17s competitions running throughout the competition.
KARI CEO Casey Ralph says:
“It is very important to KARI to deliver opportunities for community capacity building and showcase to the wider community the amazing talent and professionalism of Aboriginal Australia”.
