On Friday 28th July 2017, KARI was invited to the Zurich Charity Fair to raise awareness about our work and encourage involvement from its employees as volunteers.
Zurich host a Charity Fair event for its 600-strong cohort of staff. The Charity Fair is part of Zurich’s Global Community Friday’s initiative.
Zurich and many of its employees support the communities in many different ways around the world.
The Charity Fair included a range of charities and representatives to talk to its staff about what they can do. There was also explanations on how Zurich can help by either donating time or money to each charity.
At Zurich, all staff have a volunteer day they can use at any time. The idea is around giving back to the community. Many staff are interested in doing more but just don’t know where to start.
The Charity Fair provided an opportunity for the staff to find out about different charities and how they can help.
Many positive and wonderful conversations took place throughout the afternoon, with many of Zurich’s staff engaging with the KARI team on site. They were taking information with them to consider what role they could play in supporting KARI and the work that we do.
We would like to thank Zurich for this opportunity. We look forward to building on this work together in the future.
