Good afternoon,
September marks a very exciting and optimistic time for KARI.
Last week saw the conclusion of the KARI Leadership program. What an inspiration it is bringing up and coming business leaders together.
The KARI Leadership program produces measurable and lasting change that improves organisational performance and transforms individuals. This program helps individuals achieve positive change, as well as creating workplaces that produce results and get people excited.
We will be launching an innovative and empowering project called ‘Lead with Culture’.
In the past 19 years, KARI has worked resiliently to provide opportunity and pathways for success. We have delivered programs which reconnect and increase Aboriginal youth in their culture. The lessons that have come from delivering these programs are the basis of our new program.
Some of the factors which impede Indigenous Australians achieving personal success include:
- Indigenous incarceration rates
- Poor education
- High unemployment
- Children in Out-of-Home Care
This project will allow us to continue to bring together governments and corporate Australia to invest in Aboriginal culture and youth.
In the coming weeks, I look forward to sharing and building on this new chapter of KARI with our trusted network.
We have also decided to give our partners a closer look inside KARI’s operations. This will be done through our our new “Meet the team” department update. Each month will take you inside a different department around KARI.
During September, we are delivering a variety of programs that drive positive outcomes and measurable change.
I hope you enjoy reading about some of the amazing work KARI has conducted during the last month with your support.
Regards,
Casey Ralph
