KARI Limited has once again provided an engaging Cultural Leadership Camp for Indigenous youth in our communities. Young people were given the opportunity to attend a 3-day camp, held at Bamarang Bush Retreat in Nowra.
KARI Limited have been facilitating camps like these for a number of years in partnership with First Hand Solutions, and its founder Peter Cooley. These camps provide our young people with a variety of different workshops and activities that allow them to dive deep into traditional and cultural practices.
We aim to offer young people an opportunity to experience their culture through a variety of activities and knowledge based workshops under the guidance of cultural mentors with the program designed to balance recreational activities with educational, cultural and social engagement practices.
