We are immensely proud of our KARI Singers and their performance at this years WugulOra morning Ceremony, as well as the Australia Day Live concert.
Each year at the WugulOra Ceremony, the KARI Singers have been highly sought after to perform the National Anthem in Eora Language and English, to recognise the importance of Aboriginal Australia on such a significant date in Australian history.
The WugulOra Ceremony provided an opportunity for the Singers to meet New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet and Opposition Leader Chris Minns. We appreciate our achievements towards reconciliation being acknowledged by such distinct members of our government, as we believe being a part of the conversation surrounding Australia Day invokes change and is a step towards reconciliation and a united Australia.
The Australia Day Live concert was again another opportune moment for the Singers as they took to the stage with recently honoured Order of Australia AM recipient Delta Goodrem in a performance that encouraged the crowd to Reflect, Respect and Celebrate.
