The KARI Foundation’s commitment to community continues as we announce that former Australian and NSW Rugby League player and Coach Laurie Daley AM has officially signed with KARI as a Community Ambassador.
Daley will not only help promote the Foundation’s positive work, he will also promote Indigenous excellence at a national level.
KARI CEO Casey Ralph is confident that Daley’s appointment is a step in the right direction for KARI.
“Laurie’s values and behaviour align with everything that KARI Ltd and the KARI Foundation stand for. He demonstrated this throughout his rugby league career, which has continued in his career in the media and coaching following retirement,” Ralph said.
“He is an excellent Indigenous role model who will help us on our journey. We are delighted to have Laurie on board,” Ralph continued.
For Daley, there was no question about whether or not he wanted to join KARI in the work being done.
“Ever since I met Paul Ralph [KARI Founder] and came to understand the work that KARI and the KARI Foundation do in the community, it is something that I knew I wanted to be involved with,” Daley said.
“I am very passionate about working with Indigenous communities. I am committed to and excited about the projects that we will be working on together to deliver positive outcomes during 2018 and into the future.” Daley stated.
Mr Daley joins 2GB’s Ray Hadley OAM and former Rugby League player and current NG Farah Real Estate agent Beau Champion as KARI Ambassadors.
