As we fast approach the mid-way point of 2022, things are getting increasingly busy here at KARI. NAIDOC Week is just around the corner and the team are close to hitting fever pitch with planning for our upcoming NAIDOC Luncheon and in preparation for a number of community events we will attend across the week.
Reconciliation week has presented us all with a challenge with the theme ‘Be Brave, Make Change’. It is an ethos we carry throughout our daily operations here at KARI and one we extend to our corporate partners through our continued support of RAP development and implementation. This years NAIDOC theme ‘Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!’ is a call to arms and is an invitation to you all to show how you can put this call into action.
It brings me great pleasure to see how some of our partners are already applying this through our Corporate Volunteering opportunities and participation in our latest fundraising campaign. I hope to see more of you Be Brave, Make Change and Stand Up to the challenge and likewise, I look forward to seeing many of you at upcoming events across NAIDOC Week.
Yours in culture,
Casey Ralph
