Our partnership with the NSW Blues continues to strengthen, and we were represented as the first Indigenous organisation to be on the NSW Blues State of Origin jersey, for the second year in a row. The NSW Blues share the same core values and beliefs as KARI and we will continue to work together to better the lives of Indigenous youth through the game of Rugby League.
Game 1 unfortunately did not go in favour of the Blues, beaten by Queensland 18-14. Game 2 proved that the Blues have what it takes to beat the odds and come back against a tough Queensland team. After their close defeat in game 1, the Blues found their feet against the Maroons, defeating them 38-6.
The 2019 Origin series will now be taken to a deciding match in Game 3, which will be played out at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on Wednesday 10th July.
KARI are proud to be partnered with the NSW Blues as their strength and determination are values, we can align with. We want to wish the Blues the best for Game 3 and ensure they know that KARI will be supporting them.
