On Sunday 14th December, the KARI Limited team hosted their annual Christmas Carol’s event at Sydney’s iconic Luna Park.
A number of Christmas themed activities were on offer to children and young people across our KARI Limited Programs, their carers and families as well as KARI staff, encompassing art and craft, games and of course the carols themselves.
Lead by KARI Singers Coordinators Blake Ralph and Sarah Bertram, all joined together to sing traditional Christmas carols, including Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Santa Clause is Coming to Town. The Christmas spirit was not only spread by a harmony of voices, but also by a visit from the big man himself. Santa Clause paid a special visit to Luna Park and handed out gifts to all children in attendance.
Children and families were able to get their photo taken with Santa before enjoying the rest of their day with access to all of the amusements Luna Park has to offer.
“It’s great to see our young people and their families celebrate this time of year and really get involved in the carols; the day creates positive memories for our young people, carers and staff alike.” – Jake Wilson, Regional PSP Manager
This event is a great way to celebrate the upcoming Christmas Holidays and the end of another successful year for KARI Limited.
