The inaugural TEXCO Charity Golf Day raised an incredible $89,000 for KARI Foundation, bringing together corporate partners, contractors, suppliers and supporters for a day of golf, networking and giving back.
Held at The Coast Golf Club, on Friday May 18 the event combined friendly competition with a shared commitment to creating positive outcomes in the community. Participants enjoyed a great day of golf, networking and fundraising, while learning more about the impact KARI programs continue to have across education, employment, culture, health and community development.
A highlight of the day was the presence of the all-new Kia Tasman, showcased through a special Hole in One activation highlighting KARI’s ongoing partnership with Suttons Motors Group and Kia. The activation generated plenty of excitement throughout the event, giving players the chance to win a major prize while engaging with one of Australia’s most anticipated new vehicles.
The event attracted a highly relevant audience of business owners, tradies, subcontractors, construction professionals and decision-makers, reflecting the strong relationships TEXCO has built across the industry and their ongoing commitment to giving back.
Most importantly, the extraordinary $89,000 raised through the leadership, generosity and unwavering commitment of Texco Construction and its extensive network of industry partners, suppliers and supporters will have a lasting impact on Aboriginal communities. This outstanding result is a testament not only to Texco’s dedication to creating meaningful social outcomes, but also to its ability to mobilise a network of like-minded organisations committed to giving back.
Through their collective efforts, what began as a fundraising initiative became a powerful demonstration of corporate and community partnership in action. The funds raised will directly support KARI’s programs across education, family and community support, cultural connection and wellbeing, creating opportunities for Aboriginal children, young people, families and Elders to thrive. The remarkable contribution from Texco and its network will help ensure KARI can continue delivering life-changing programs, strengthening communities and empowering future generations for years to come.
