The Pathways to University Program aims to offer Aboriginal high school students attending schools across the Sydney Metropolitan and Western Sydney Region the opportunity access all the information needed to understand what university has to offer.

In Term 1 of the school year KARI Foundation facilitates a University Expo event in both South West and Western Sydney. This Expo is open to all Aboriginal students in Years 10, 11 and 12 and provides a one stop shop experience for those in attendance to meet representatives from various universities across NSW and more importantly, learn about the pre-entry program opportunities that exist for Aboriginal students.

In Term 2, KARI Foundations Community Programs Team commence their University Open Day Excursions where they take students to the various universities to explore the campus environment and spend the day in the life of a university student.

In Terms 2 and 3, we are committed to supporting students with their university applications and with the support of HSBC provide mentoring support regarding interview and essay writing skills to increase confidence and chances of gaining entry into university.
