KARI Foundation Ella 7’s
The marquee event for Indigenous Sevens Rugby is the KARI Foundation Ella 7s, named after the famed Ella Brothers – Gary, Glen and Mark.
This is Rugby’s flagship Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Rugby Union 7s tournament attracting around 400 athletes and officials. The tournament is a key marketing tool to bring the game of Sevens to the wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population.
The KARI Foundation is proud that many male and female players from this tournament have gone on to represent the Australian Sevens program.
