KARI’s annual Christmas Carols event ran on 16th December 2016 and was a real hit with our children and young people.
The children enjoyed playing on the inflatable slide, bouncing on the jumping castle and racing around in the dodgem cars. We had some wonderful face painters on site offering free face painting, transforming the children in lions, tigers and butterflies to name a few. They also enjoyed loads of arts and crafts. The highlight for most was of course receiving their gift from Santa before receiving a photo with him and his elves.
A BBQ lunch was provided for all who attended, giving our carers and the children a chance to relax and unwind with friends and family.
The night wrapped up with everyone joining in to sing Christmas carols, led by Blake Ralph, Sarah Bertram and Rachael Bertram. Santa’s elves were also on hand to lead the youngsters in a song and dance while everyone joined in with crowd favourites including Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer.
It was wonderful to see so many happy, smiling faces on the night – Santa and his elves are already busy planning for an even bigger and better event for 2017!
