As a sign of a constantly strengthening partnership, KARI Foundation and the Sydney Roosters were match day partners for the NRL’s Indigenous Round. As a representation of this partnership, the KARI Foundation logo was displayed on the intricately designed Indigenous Round jersey, with artwork by Indigenous artist Kylie Cassidy.
In addition to our match-day partnership, the Sydney Roosters held an online auction for players Indigenous Round jerseys, with all proceeds going to the KARI Foundation. Over $22,000 was raised from this event, in order to continue providing programs to ensure youth are participating in sport and healthy lifestyle initiatives.
The Sydney Roosters have a long and proud Indigenous heritage, and we are thrilled to be able to continue with them on this journey of collaboration towards our shared goal of one voice of reconciliation.
