KARI are excited to announce the official launch of its Alumni Performance Group. The group consists of outstanding graduates from KARI’s Vocal Identification Program (VIP). This group of seasoned, young Indigenous vocalists pride themselves on providing professional, high quality performances tailored to their audience.
The KARI Alumni Performance Group was established to continue to support and provide opportunities for the incredible talent that comes through VIP.
The Alumni Performance Group can provide audiences the experience of their unique sound and performance style, pairing well-known songs made famous by Indigenous artists such as Yothu Yindi and Christine Anu and modern pieces with cultural flair.
They have performed at many prestigious corporate and community events around NSW, including:
- Australia Day Luncheon 2019, with John Stevens
- Australia Day Concert 2019, with Conrad Sewell and Yothu Yindi
- NRL State of Origin 2018
- Suncorp Super Netball – Indigenous Round 2018
