KARI Limited’s Annual Community Unity Day was once again able to bring the community together in a day of celebration and fun. On the 24th of April 2019, our annual Unity Day event was held at the Whitlam Centre in Liverpool. We welcomed communities from all over to attend the free event, allowing for families to enjoy a day of fun with free rides, food and entertainment.
The purpose of Unity Day is to provide a free event for families to attend during the Easter school holidays, that is both enjoyable for children as well as their parents.
This day also provides an avenue for families to see what services their local community can provide; with over 20 stalls this year our community had access to:
- NSW Police Force, Liverpool Police Area Command
- St John’s Ambulance
- Mission Australia
- Western Sydney University
- Sydney Roosters
- Netball NSW
- Go for Fun
A magician, face painters and some amazing performances from our KARI Singers ensured the day was filled with non-stop entertainment.
Our food vendors did an amazing job in providing lunch for the community, with an abundance of favoured carnival treats available.
KARI Limited would like to thank all in attendance for another successful year.
