“A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.”
Each year on the 8th March, we celebrate International Women’s Day. A day to recognise women and their contribution to society and focus on the inequalities they face in their personal and professional lives. This year’s theme was Breaking the Bias and Gender Equality.
To celebrate this momentous day, we launched the first episode of our official KARI podcast. The episode sees our CEO Casey Ralph joined by staff members Lauren Drayton and Colleen Fricker, to discuss the theme and how KARI Limited and KARI Foundation programs address these issues and support women on a daily basis.
Casey also discusses her experience as an Aboriginal, female CEO and the impact it has had on her career cementing her status as a trailblazer, smashing through the glass ceiling and becoming a champion for Aboriginal women both in and outside the corporate space and their communities.
At KARI we believe being a part of the conversation drives change. We look forward to providing more programs to support women in our communities, enabling future generations to feel empowered by their culture and identity.
