KARI’s Young Leaders recently came together for their annual catch up dinner, bringing together young people in Out of Home Care who have demonstrated strong leadership, positive attitudes and a commitment to personal growth.
Each year, selected Young Leaders travel with KARI’s Cultural Unit to Darwin, where they participate in a range of cultural, educational and leadership development activities. The experience provides an opportunity to strengthen cultural connections, build confidence, develop friendships and create lifelong memories.
The evening provided an opportunity to connect, celebrate achievements and look ahead to one of the highlights of the Young Leaders program, the annual Darwin cultural experience. During the dinner, this years selected leaders learned they would be heading to Darwin, with the announcement met by plenty of excitement.
KARI is proud to continue investing in opportunities that recognise and reward the incredible young people participating in the Young Leaders program, helping them build confidence, connection and leadership skills for the future.
